WHAT DO YOU SAY????
People say words are powerful, I conquer with this but do we really understand what it means?
I don’t know if you have ever found yourself in a situation where what you spoke is what happened! If you say am tired you become even more tired if you say am bored nothing can change that not unless you speak a word to change that, what I am trying to say is that whatever you speak you give it power to exist.
In the bible, the only manual, I refer to for almost everything in my life, is written that what you confess is what you possess, so when you speak lifeless words in your life that’s just what will happen. The reason you are the way you are right now could be of the words you have been saying upon your life, why thing are the way they are in your family or business or career or relationship might be of result of what you speak.
I know sometimes things around us may get tough but when you speak hopeless in a hopeless situation you make it worse. Take for example when you to visit a sick person in a hospital even though you will meet them half dead you always say something positive, you give that person hope in a hopeless situation, think, why do you do that or why do people do that! Because words have impact if you tell such a person that there is no hope they might die sooner than expected, our words can ignite life or cause death to a situation. A small fire, someone said, can become a great fire so negative comments amplify problems.
We were created in God’s own likeness and image, God speaks and it is done, let us look at the creation story, apart from the sixth day where He created man, everything else was made were via words. If then we are created in his own image that simply means that what we speak we create it. Through a word the earth was created and everything in it, through the word that God sent Mary. Elizabeth, Sarah all got pregnant, through the word Sodom & Gomorrah were destroyed. The word of God became flesh, Jesus is the word that God spoke that came in flesh (john 1:14). The word of God does not return to him less it accomplishes the intended purpose so is every word we say. What am trying to show you is that words have both the power to destroy and to create. Nothing happened till God spoke therefore we have the same power in our tongues.
We quarrel with our friends to even a point of fighting but we often do not look at the bruises we got from the fight but we often remember even memorize the words that were exchanged during the fight that did hurt our feelings. We hurt others or get hurt through words, we feel loved or show love through words, we give hope or discouragements via words, we create and destroy friendships or relationships through words. Do you now see my point that words impacts our environment!
Friends words are powerful, be careful what you speak. Use your tongue as an instrument of life and not death in proverbs 20:21 says that you have both the power of death and life in your tongue. In Mathew12: 37 it says by your words you will be condemned or justified. In Malachi 3:13 shows us how negative speaking can hinder His blessing to pass in our lives, therefore I urge you In a hopeless situation speak hope, in a sad situation speak joy, in a teary situation speak laughter in every negative situation speak positivity it may not be easy but there is no harm in trying is there? Speak life and not death!

A tongue is the best producer and a very worse consumer beware of
what you speak from today. Your tongue can work for or against you,
think before you release any word from your mouth. Your word can
rearrange or change things. The words you conceive in your heart and
speak them releases a spiritual force like a dynamite. Make sure that
anywhere you go, when you leave that place the words that you used made a
positive impact (gave life) and not a negative impact (created death).
NB: words are IRREVERSIBLE.
Now take a moment and examine the words you have been using upon everything in your life,
What impact have those words done? ………….
This is what you will/may find out that if you have been speaking positivity then the impact was good and vice versa.
Don’t let your (ANY) situation determine your confession because your confession can change your situation.
